Silver medallists at Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 for TeamGB

2023 Curling World Champions

Team Mouat, from Scotland, are one of the main medal hopes for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan/Cortina. Since forming in 2017 they have won the 2023 World Championship, silver at the 2022 Winter Olympics, four European Championships and nine Grand Slam titles!

Scotland is the home of curling and these four fly the flag for both Scotland and Great Britain, competing in the Grand Slam of Curling events across North America. The team consists of;

Bruce Mouat - Skip

The Mouat of Team Mouat, Bruce is the Skip (captain) of the crew. Curling since the age of 7, Bruce came out to his family and friends aged 18 and wants to inspire others to compete in sport. He’s taught himself how to sew, and enjoys building Lego.

Hammy McMillan Jr - Lead

Lively and charismatic, Hammy brings energy and a touch of chaos wherever he goes! Alongside competing he works as a curling development officer, but used to work in a cocktail bar and makes a mean Espresso Martini…

Bobby Lammie - Second

Bobby grew up on a farm in Stranraer, Scotland, but always wanted to work full time in sport. He studied sport at University and also enjoys football and golf. He comes across introverted and chilled, but that belies a steely competitive drive.

Grant Hardie - Third

Grant has been curling competitively with his cousin Hammy since they were juniors. Team Mouat’s vice-skip brings a scientific approach to his curling, as he is also a qualified civil engineer.
