Nadia is an award-winning international broadcaster, renowned for television, radio, and journalism. She is the only hijab-wearing permanent national broadcaster. For over a decade, her show on BBC Asian Network has celebrated global Bengali artists and music. She now also hosts a drive time chill show on the station.

For BBC iPlayer, Nadia recently hosted a film about Bangladesh and the ground-breaking BBC Asian Network live music sessions in Dhaka featuring A-list artists from Bangladesh and the UK. Nadia's news reports feature on BBC News, World News, and BBC Two.

In 2005, Nadia began six years hosting children's live TV. She then co-hosted international reality TV show, "Forgotten Roots," and, for seven years, UK festival the Boishakhi Mela, with over 30,000 attendees.

Nadia has hosted award ceremonies and talent shows worldwide, including the Yash Raj Films Aaja Nachle Search, the prestigious IFFA Awards 2014, Asian Wedding Exhibition, India Fashion Week, Channel S Awards, British Bangladeshi Who's Who Awards, British Bangladesh Lifestyle Awards.

She is a qualified barrister and Director of the British Bangladesh Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs. Nadia is a popular motivational speaker including at WAW festival in Dhaka, Women's Hour on radio, PerformanceFest and in schools and colleges. She actively participates in campaigns for the NHS and Government Home Office addressing domestic violence.
