Half-Moroccan, half-Pakistani Londoner Mariah is a model, presenter and filmmaker. She became recognised as the world’s first hijab-wearing model after featuring in H&M’s international ‘Close the Loop’ campaign. Mariah has featured in press, including CNN, BBC, and the New York Times as a leading authority in ‘modest fashion’.
Outside of modelling, she produced and presented a short documentary for Comic Relief and produced online adverts for MAC cosmetics and Elizabeth Arden. She contributes as a writer to magazines such as Grazia, Vogue Arabia and Stylist and works with charities including as an ambassador for Help Yateem. She is currently working on a feature film and documentary.
