Danny is a British film, television and theatre actor who is represented by Gordon and French for his acting work. Away from acting, he is a proud husband and father who cares passionately about storytelling, how it connects people and can change lives for the better, as well as history, in particular African history, its culture, people and descendants.
He is interested in co-creating and presenting meaningful documentaries about history, culture and heritage as well as sharing his story and experiences as a public speaker and collaborating with organisations who share his values.
International screen credits include Marvel Studio’s Black Panther, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Trance, Penny Dreadful, Killing Eve, The Crown and science fiction series Halo, based on the video game of the same name, in which he plays Captain Jacob Keyes.
In 2024, he has a central role in Guy Ritchie’s Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and is playing the lead in the sold out West End production of King Lear.
An accomplished stage actor, Danny is known for roles including Brutus in Mark Rylance’s Julius Caesar at The Globe and, Benny in Blanche McIntyre’s lockdown two-hander Hymn opposite Adrian Lester.
