Picked as closing ceremony flag-bearer
Four World and six European titles
Bryony Page is the current Olympic, World, European and British trampolining champion. She also has Olympic silver (Rio 2016) and bronze (Tokyo 2020) to her name. Before winning gold at Paris 2024 - where she was chosen as TeamGB’s female flag-bearer for the closing ceremony - she was already GB’s most successful female gymnast of all time with four World Championship titles and six European Championships across individual, synchro and team events.
She grew up in the USA and took up gymnastics before moving back to the UK. She started trampolining aged 9, and was competing in World Championships at 19. As well as elite sporting success, Bryony achieved a First Class Honours degree in Biology from the University of Sheffield, where she was also then awarded an honorary doctorate for bringing distinction to the University.
Bryony designs her own leotards and has been one of a small number of elected members of TeamGB’s Athletes’ Commission for the last three years. She dreams of being an acrobat in Cirque du Soleil and competing in another Olympic Games.
Away from the world of sport, she enjoys arts, crafts, board games, video gaming and running her cat’s instagram page! @Grandma_Sushi_Cat
