An experienced international mountain climber, Akke has conquered Europe’s highest peak in Mount Elbrus, Africa’s highest in Kilimanjaro and Mont Blanc in the Alps. His adventures have raised over £350k for charity including £250k for climbing Everest, helping to change thousands of lives for the better. In 2023, his sights are set on the world’s second and third highest peaks – and he won’t be stopping there.

An accomplished motivational speaker, he is happiest with his wife and three children in his hometown of Oldham, Manchester.
